How to Get Baxcalibrite in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The only way to obtain Baxcalibrite is through Ranked Online Battles. The item will debut as a reward during Ranked Battles Season 4, which runs:
December 17, 2025 (10:00 p.m. PST) → January 7, 2026 (5:59 p.m. PST)
Rank Required
To earn Baxcalibrite, you must reach Rank S during the season. This has not been officially confirmed but follows the reward pattern of previous Mega Stones.
Players start at Rank Z and climb by earning points from online matches. You do not need DLC ownership to participate or receive the reward.
If you miss it—don't worry. Baxcalibrite will return in future seasons, often at lower ranks, just like previous Mega Stones.
Other Mega Stones Returning in Season 4
Season 4 brings multiple returning rewards from earlier seasons:
Rank U → Chesnaughtite
Rank W → Delphoxite
Rank Y → Greninjite
These items cannot be found in normal gameplay and cannot be traded, so Ranked is the only path to obtain them.
How Ranked Battles Work
Ranked Battles in Legends: Z-A are four-player, real-time online battles. Here's how to join:
Launch your game.
Press X → open the menu.
Select Link Play.
Choose Ranked Battles.
You only need one completed match—win or lose—to qualify for season-ending rewards.

Hyperspace Pokédex No. 001–112
Auto-set to Lv. 50
No duplicate Pokémon or held items.

Even if you don't reach Rank S, every rank milestone offers useful items:

How to Use Baxcalibrite
Once you earn the Mega Stone:
Equip Baxcalibrite to Baxcalibur.
Fill your Mega Power bar during battle.
Activate the gauge to trigger Mega Evolution → Mega Baxcalibur.
Mega Evolution temporarily boosts stats and changes abilities, giving Baxcalibur a powerful way to swing tough battles.
You can only hold one Baxcalibrite per save file, and Mega Stones cannot be traded.
Is There Any Other Way to Get Mega Baxcalibur?
Not for now. Ranked Battles remain the exclusive source for Baxcalibrite.
However, you can still trade for a Baxcalibur itself, even if you don't own the Mega Dimension DLC.
If you want to use Mega Baxcalibur, participating in Ranked Season 4 is your best chance—and the earliest opportunity to secure the Mega Stone.
