Get ready for the wildest Pokémon GO event of the year! During Wild Area: Global, Trainers worldwide can enjoy two full days of shiny Pokémon hunting, powerful Raid Battles, special rewards, and limited-time surprises.

Event Highlights
- The debut of the evolutionary line Impidimp → Morgrem → Grimmsnarl (shiny versions included).
- Global launch of Gigantamax Grimmsnarl in six-star Max Battles.
- First appearance of Shadow Cresselia (Saturday) and Shadow Darkrai (Sunday) in Shadow Raids – shiny versions possible.
- Return of Mighty Pokémon wild encounters with higher stats, XL/XXL sizes, and exclusive GO Safari Balls.
- Shiny debuts: Hatenna family, Impidimp family, Unown W.
- Two alternating habitat hours: Lurking Dark Hour (Dark-type) and Fanciful Fairy Hour (Fairy-type).
- Exclusive ticketed Special Research – choose Dark-type or Fairy-type path with unique avatar items and stickers.
- Additional avatar items, themed stickers, and special backgrounds for successful catches.

Mighty Pokémon Wild Encounters
Mighty Pokémon are rare wild variants with boosted stats (min. IVs ~13/13/13) and XL/XXL sizes. They may appear shiny with a "!!!" above their heads. Use exclusive GO Safari Balls for better catch rates.
