Pokémon GO Halloween 2026 Part II runs from Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, November 5, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Shiny Greavard debuts, Mega Sableye can reach Super Max, and the Halloween GO Pass continues across both parts of the event.
Part I ends as Part II begins. It ran from October 27 at 10:00 a.m. to November 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time. With only five days in Part II, decide what you want before the first session: the new Shiny, the costume raids, or progress on Mega Sableye.

How to Get Shiny Greavard in Pokémon GO
Shiny Greavard debuts in Pokémon GO on November 1, 2026, during Halloween Part II. You can encounter Greavard through three confirmed sources: wild spawns, event Field Research, and Halloween GO Pass tasks. The announced one-star raids feature Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet and Sinistea wearing a bow, but Greavard is not included in the listed raid lineup.
Niantic has not announced a boosted Shiny rate, and the full Field Research task list has not yet been revealed. None of these encounter methods guarantees a Shiny. If you catch a Shiny Greavard, you can evolve it into Shiny Houndstone.
Even if you don't find a Shiny, catching a regular Greavard can be useful if you plan to trade for one later. Trading for a Shiny Pokémon that is not registered in your Pokédex can cost up to 1,000,000 Stardust, depending on your friendship level. Once Greavard is registered, the Stardust cost for a Shiny Greavard trade is lower, although the exact amount still depends on your friendship level. Special Trades are subject to the game's daily limit.
If you miss Shiny Greavard during the event, you can also check Pkmbuy's Pokémon GO Pokémon for available Pokémon. Check the listing details and trade requirements to see whether a Pokémon meets your needs.
Wild spawns, one-star raids, and research
The Pokémon GO team published highlights, not a full spawn list. The named wild species can be Shiny. Both one-star costume Pokémon can be Shiny.
| Source | Featured Pokémon |
| Wild spawns | Litwick, Rowlet wearing a Pokémon Halloween costume, Greavard, and possibly Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume |
| One-star raids | Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet, Sinistea wearing a bow |
| Event Field Research | Event encounters, including Greavard |
| Halloween GO Pass | Event encounters, including Greavard |
Higher-tier raid bosses for Halloween Part II have not yet been announced. Mega Sableye reaching Super Max does not confirm that it will appear in raids, so check the official raid lineup before spending Premium Battle Passes on a specific boss.
Mega Sableye Super Max
From November 1, Mega Sableye can be raised past Max to Super Max. The order is fixed:
- Raise that Sableye through Base, High, and then Max.
- After Max, spend more Sableye Mega Energy to reach Super Max.
- Mega Evolving again and again does not finish this step. The extra Mega Energy spend is required.
Super Max opens on November 1 and stays after the event. You do not need to finish it by November 5. Use the Sableye you have already put Mega Energy into. Powering that Pokémon up is a separate Stardust cost.
Night Shade+
While Mega Evolved, Sableye can use Night Shade+ as an additional Charged Attack. The published baseline is 55 power in Trainer Battles and 160 power in Raid Battles. Power increases as Mega Level increases. Those figures are the starting values, not a separate Super Max total.
The announcement ties the move to Mega Evolution and says its power scales with Mega Level. It does not say Super Max is required before the move can be used. When the Mega Evolution ends, Sableye does not keep Night Shade+. No TM is needed to activate it. It can be used in raids during Mega Evolution, and in Trainer Battles when the current rules allow Mega Pokémon.
Sableye Mega Energy
Part II has no confirmed Mega Sableye raid. Mega Energy still comes from future Mega Raids that feature Sableye, and from walking Sableye as your buddy after you have Mega Evolved that species once.
Check your Mega Level and stored Mega Energy before November 1. Reaching Max early leaves only the Super Max spend for later. You can keep collecting energy after Part II ends.
Halloween GO Pass rewards
Catch bonuses unlock at specific rank milestones, so they are not available automatically when Part II begins.
| Track | Price | Rank 10 | Rank 20 | Also includes |
| Free GO Pass | 0 | 2× catch Candy | 2× catch Stardust | Event encounters, Candy, Rare Candy, Ultra Balls |
| GO Pass Deluxe | $7.99 | 3× catch Candy | 3× catch Stardust | More encounters, the Patissier outfit, Rare Candy XL, Premium Battle Passes |
| Deluxe + 10 Ranks | $9.99 | Same 3× bonuses once you reach the ranks | Same | Enough GO Points to reach Rank 11 right away |
Prices are listed in USD or the applicable local currency. Purchasing Deluxe through the Pokémon GO Web Store also includes a bonus item pack, but this does not bypass the rank requirements for catch bonuses.
Is GO Pass Deluxe worth buying?
GO Pass Deluxe is worth considering if you plan to catch plenty of Pokémon before November 5. The $9.99 Deluxe + 10 Ranks option lets you reach Rank 11 immediately, according to the listed rewards, unlocking the Rank 10 milestone sooner. However, you will still need to reach Rank 20 to unlock the Stardust catch bonus.
If you mainly want the event encounters and do not expect to catch many Pokémon, the free track may be sufficient. Consider the rewards you want and how much time you have left before upgrading.
What if you won't reach Rank 20?
The Stardust catch bonus only applies after you unlock Rank 20, and it boosts Stardust earned from eligible catches. If you do not expect to reach Rank 20 before the GO Pass ends, you can still build your Stardust reserves through other means.
The Rank 20 catch bonus ends with the event on November 5 at 8:00 p.m. local time. If you unlock it, prioritize catching Pokémon before the deadline to make the most of the remaining bonus period.
What to do first
- Shiny hunters: check wild Greavard, Field Research, and GO Pass encounters. A regular catch fills the species entry. Only a Shiny catch registers Shiny Greavard.
- Costume collectors: do the one-star raids for Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet and Sinistea wearing a bow.
- Mega Sableye trainers: record your Mega Level and Mega Energy. Test Night Shade+ while Mega Evolved, and finish Super Max when you have the energy.
- Everyone: stop earning pass points on November 5, and claim unlocked rewards by November 7 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Field Research text and Shiny rates were not included in the announcement. Check both in game after Part II goes live.
