How to Redeem Mystery Gift Codes
The process of redeeming mystery gift codes in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet is pretty straightforward, much like other entries in the series. Just follow the steps listed below.

1. Launch Pokemon Scarlet or Violet
2. Select the Poke Portal on the X menu
3. The first true step to redeem Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet Mystery Gift codes is to now select the Mystery Gift option
4. Select either “Get via Internet” or “Get with Code/Password” to connect to the internet
5. If you chose “Get via Internet”, simply follow the next steps; if you chose “Get with Code/Password”, enter your password
6. Watch as the gift arrives in your game
7. Be sure to save your game

Keep in mind that you need about 1 to 1.5 hours of game time to access the mystery gift feature.
