However, these Pokemon can be easily identified from a distance, which will give you time to consider whether you want to meet them or keep your distance. Aside from their large size and aggressiveness, one of the main characteristics of Alpha Pokemon and other pets is their demonic red glowing eyes.

Do Alpha Pokemon's eyes get red after being caught in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

We personally think Alpha Pokemon's advertised red eyes are pretty cool, and it's disgusting to keep them around a Pokemon even after being caught. However, this is not the case, as Alpha Pokemon do lose their red, glowing eyes when caught by a trainer.

Thematically, this makes sense. These are wild and crazy Pokemon that are particularly aggressive in nature, depicted by red eyes. When a trainer catches and tames them, they are bound to become more docile, which in turn takes away their wild and aggressive red eyes. Alpha Pokemon do retain their larger size and increase base effort levels after being caught, so losing something that's just cosmetic shouldn't worry players too much.
