Pokemon Sword and Shield version has been updated

Pokemon Sword and Shield version 1.3.2 has been released on Nintendo Switch. To help improve the overall experience, this update also brings some new changes. Some players might notice a difference in online and local wireless battles. This update solves the problem that Pokemon icons cannot be displayed correctly. In addition, version 1.3.2 also provides some other fixes to make the game run more smoothly. Unfortunately, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have not yet detailed the latter. Nintendo also released patch notes on its official website.

Pokemon Sword and Shield was released in November 2019 and has accumulated many loyal fans. Some players can even solve some problems by themselves. But fans who want more updated content will have to wait again.

It is not clear whether Game Freak and Nintendo will continue to update Sword and Shield. This title received two DLC expansions last year, adding new exploration areas and new Pokemon to capture. However, it is reported that Pokemon: Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released this year, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be released in 2022.

As two major versions are about to be released, fans may not be able to wait for another update of Sword and Shield. Having said that, to allow players to bring the previous Pokemon into the Galar game, the game is likely to be updated based on these new versions. After all, there are still some Pokemon that cannot be obtained. Currently, what fans have to do is to wait.
