Pokemon Home 2.0 will have a maintenance schedule on May 18, adding Arceus and BDSP
Pokemon Home's much-anticipated 2.0 update is arriving later today, unfortunately with extended server maintenance.
Update 2.0 is coming to Nintendo Switch and mobile on May 18.
The Pokemon Company has confirmed that the Pokemon Home Update 2.0 maintenance will begin at 5 pm PT on May 17th, with major changes that will make it possible to transfer Pokemon between most games. For trainers in the UK, the same downtime will start at 1 am BST on May 18. The official announcement from the home team added: "Scheduled maintenance will begin on May 17, 2022 at 5:00 PM PDT. Please note that Pokémon HOME will not be accessible during this maintenance period."
It Will eventually allow players to link Pokemon HOME to Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, Pokemon Shining Pearl, Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Shield, Pokemon: Let's Go Pickachu!, Pokemon Le's Go Eevee! and Pokemon GO.
It was also confirmed that after Update 2.0, the ability to transfer Pokemon between games will also appear. According to the official Pokémon website, some restrictions will be set and Arceus, BDSP, Sword and Shield will be compatible with Pokemon Home. Pokemon can be deposited and withdrawn in these games.
This means players will be able to bring any Pokémon captured in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield into Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon BDSP. If players still lack the Pokémon they want, they can come to PKMBuy to buy Shiny Pokémon, which are cheap and reliable.
